What Dishy is

Dishy provides campus dining information alongside ratings, notes and photos posted by verified students. Dishy is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any school or dining service. School names and branding are used only to identify the relevant campus.

Accuracy and allergens

Menus, hours, ingredients, allergens and nutrition come from each school’s dining service; Dishy reformats them without verifying them. Kitchens substitute, halls change hours, and published data can be wrong.

If a food allergy or intolerance affects your safety, treat Dishy as a convenience, not a medical tool. Always confirm with dining hall staff before eating. Nutrition information is not dietary advice, and student posts may not reflect current conditions.

Accounts

Browsing needs no account. Posting requires verification with an email address from a supported school. Dishy is intended for students and is not directed at children under 13. You are responsible for activity from your account.

Community rules

You can rate a dish, leave a short note, and add photos of the food.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. Nothing hateful, harassing, threatening, sexual, deceptive or unlawful. No pictures of people, or of anything but the food in front of you. No advertising, spam, links, contact details, impersonation or anything that you do not have the right to share.

Dishy may review, reject or remove content that breaks these rules. Photos and some written content may be reviewed before appearing. Users can report content and block other users, and we may restrict or remove posting access where necessary.

Your content

What you post stays yours, and you confirm that you have the right to share it. By posting, you give Dishy a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to store, process and display that content as needed to operate Dishy. This license ends when the content is deleted, except for temporary backup copies or where we are legally required to keep it.

You can delete your own posts at any time. Deleting your account does not automatically delete published content; it may remain on Dishy without being linked to you unless you delete it separately.

Account deletion

You can delete your account from My Dishy. This removes your verification, email address and profile. Published ratings, notes and approved photos may remain without being linked to you; content still awaiting review will not be published. Deleting your account does not remove settings stored only on your device.

Signing out is not the same as deleting your account, and you can verify again later.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with or misuse the service, attempt to bypass its security, scrape or resell its data, use another student’s account, or share verification codes.

Availability

Dishy is provided “as is”, without warranties, and campuses, features and availability can change. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss from using it.
